Fundamental Questions of Life

Updated: Aug 24, 2019

“The unexamined life is not worth living.”

- Plato

Echoing Plato's wisdom, Isha Foundation Mystic and Yogi Sadhguru says that the sooner each individual can acknowledge that "I know what I know; I don't know what I don't know; but I'm willing to learn", the more aware and inclusive all of humanity can be.

Here are some of my BIG Questions in Life (ever expanding and in no particular order):

  1. What happens after we die?

  2. Are we alone in the Universe?

  3. What existed before the Big Bang?

  4. What are Dark Matter and Dark Energy?

  5. Is the Ego Nature-d or Nurture-d? And is it tamable?

  6. Is the Human spirit inherently benevolent or malicious?

  7. What is Consciousness and where does it reside?

  8. Is there a limit on Human potential?

  9. When are we likely to hit the Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) tripwire, and which side of the Extinction-Immortality 'balance beam' will the human race fall on?

These fundamental questions aren't meant to be immediately answered, but to be insatiably curious and "foolishly hungry" about.

Each question's role is to serve as a flashlight guiding us through the timeless journey to peel back layers of the Unexamined Life :)
