The Best Types of Assets

In these mad speculative times, I've been thinking about what qualifies as a great asset with real value worth buying. Here's my short checklist.

Great asset classes have at least 2 of these 3:

• (1) Limited/capped supply

• (2) Revenue generation potential

• (3) An intrinsic story some other people care about

Examples of each:

• (1) + (2) = Premium zipcode real estate

• (2) + (3) = Solar; Biogas plants; Autonomous electric cars (in the future)

• (1) + (3) = Bitcoin; Gold; Art; Limited Collectibles

The Holy Grail Trinity: (1) + (2) + (3) = Equity; what else?
